Eschenbach Binocular Clip-On Magnifier for Eyeglasses – 1.7x to 3x

The Eschenbach Binocular Clip-On Magnifier attaches to your existing eyeglasses and magnifies through both eyes, leaving your hands free for reading, crafts, repairs, model building, inspection and other detailed close-up tasks.

The lens sits approximately two inches in front of your eyes, providing more room to work than many high-powered reading glasses. When magnification is not needed, simply flip the lens upward without removing the clip or your glasses.

Who This Magnifier Is For

This clip-on system may be a good choice for someone who:

• Already wears prescription or corrective eyeglasses
• Can use both eyes together for magnified viewing
• Wants both hands available for close-up tasks
• Needs between 1.7x and 3x magnification
• Prefers a flip-up lens instead of repeatedly removing a magnifier

This is a task-specific magnifier, not an ordinary reading-glasses attachment. It should not be used for walking, driving or general distance viewing.

Choosing Your Magnification

The working distance is the approximate space between the magnifier and the object being viewed:

• 1.7x: approximately 15.75 inches
• 2x: approximately 10 inches
• 2.5x: approximately 7 inches
• 3x: approximately 6.25 inches

Higher magnification makes details appear larger, but the object must be held closer and the visible area may become smaller. The strongest option is not automatically the best choice.

Unlike basic clip-on reading lenses, this Eschenbach system uses precision aspheric PXM lenses with a protective Cera-Tec coating for durable, clear close-up viewing. Rubber-tipped clamps help protect your eyeglass lenses, and the clip can be used with interchangeable replacement lenses if your magnification needs change.

The clip opens approximately 15 mm and is designed to fit most eyeglass frames. A protective storage box is included.
