This computer screen magnifier places a large optical lens in front of a compatible flat-panel monitor to make text, images and on-screen details appear larger. It works with your normal computer settings, so there is no software to install, no power cord and nothing to wear on your face.

Choose from sizes for 15″, 17″ and 19″ standard monitors, or 21.5″–22″ and 24″ widescreen monitors. Magnification is adjusted by changing the distance between the lens and the screen, with enlargement reaching approximately 2X depending on placement.

What to Realistically Expect

This is an optical monitor magnifier—not a digital screen or video magnifier. It makes the existing screen image appear larger, but it does not increase the monitor’s resolution or add detail that is not already present.

Because it uses a large, lightweight Fresnel lens, the enlarged image may appear somewhat softer than the uncovered monitor. The lens pattern, reflections or slight distortion may also be noticeable from certain angles. The clearest and strongest viewing area is generally toward the center of the screen. Content near the outer edges may appear softer or less evenly magnified, and some users may need to shift their viewing position to see the far sides more clearly.

Choosing the Correct Size Is Important

Select the option that matches both your monitor’s diagonal screen size and format. Standard and widescreen monitors with the same diagonal measurement are shaped differently and require different magnifiers.

This product is intended for compatible flat-panel desktop monitors. It is not recommended for laptops, curved monitors or buyers who require strong digital magnification, enhanced contrast or an extremely sharp high-definition enlarged image.
