The Eschenbach MiniFrame2 Progressive Reading Glasses and Readers make it easier to move between a computer screen, keyboard, desk work and close reading without repeatedly changing glasses. Unlike standard single-strength reading glasses, the clear progressive lenses gradually increase in power by one full diopter from the upper portion of the lens to the bottom.

The lower-power upper area is useful for intermediate viewing, such as looking at a computer monitor or objects across a desk. As your eyes move down the lens, the power gradually increases until it reaches the selected reading strength at the bottom for books, paperwork, labels and other close-up tasks.

How the Reading Strength Works

The reading strength you select is the strongest power located at the bottom of the lens. The upper portion is approximately one full diopter weaker.

For example, the +2.00 option progresses from approximately +1.00 at the top to +2.00 at the bottom. This progressive design provides a broader range of useful viewing distances than conventional full-lens reading glasses.
