Progressive Reading Glasses for Outdoor Use

The Eschenbach MiniFrame2 Sun Progressive Reading Glasses and Readers combine tinted sun protection with progressive reading power for outdoor near-vision tasks. Instead of using one strength across the entire lens, the power gradually increases by one full diopter from the top of the lens to the bottom. This provides a broader range of near-point viewing distances than conventional single-vision reading glasses.

Use them for reading books, menus, maps, labels, newspapers and smartphone screens while outdoors. The gray-tinted lenses help reduce uncomfortable brightness in sunlight while providing 100% UVA and UVB protection. Eschenbach’s U.S. specifications list 24.4% light transmission for the tinted lenses.

The lightweight PXM plastic lenses have a protective surface coating and are mounted in a compact gunmetal frame. Choose from five reading strengths ranging from +1.00 to +3.00. A black felt-lined protective case is included.
